“Give Back” Projects

The Pop Tab program at the Ronald McDonald House is a great way for families, schools, organizations, businesses and individuals to support a home-away-from-home for seriously ill children and their families. Through combined efforts the Ronald McDonald House has realized over $30,000 from pop tab recycling by various organizations. A pop tab is the flip top on aluminum cans. Due to space and cleanliness we do not collect the whole can - only the pop tab. When volunteers take the pop tabs to the recycling center, the tabs are weighed and a check is written to the House.

Since 1983, Haven House has offered emergency shelter and advocacy services to victims of domestic violence in Northwest Indiana. The Chapter encourages member professionals traveling on a regular basis, to donate unused hotel toiletries for the Haven House shelter  (a battered women's  & children’s shelter).  Travel amenities are deposited into a collection basket at monthly Chapter Meetings and then delivered to the Haven House in NW Indiana on a regular basis. The shelter is always thankful to receive travel size toiletries.
